TRAK-R data loggers are portable, electronic instruments that record measurements over time. TRAK-R data loggers communicate with custom software on your computer to retrieve, view, print or export the collected data.
Where are Loggers Used?
Almost any process or location needing to record, monitor or control data can benefit from TRAK-R Logger technology. Some examples of typical logger applications are in HVAC applications, quality control in food, pharmaceutical, and chip manufacturing, container transport monitoring, museums, hospitals, etc.
About TRAK-R Loggers
Both TRAK-R models have an LCD display and an alarm/control capability. Our software enables the user to set ceiling or floor parameters. When values are reached, an internal relay closes, enabling on/off control, alarm activation, telephone message sending, etc. TRAK-R logger sells many devices under Products to attach to this relay.

TRAK-R Loggers are battery powered, compact, lightweight and rugged.
Communication
At some user-chosen interval, the data collected in the logger needs to be downloaded to a PC in order to analyze the collected information. The data can be shown as a graph or a tabular form report, or the data can be exported to a spreadsheet or word processor. TRAK-R Logger data can be downloaded in the following ways:

1. Connect the logger directly to the computer using the provided interface cable, either a serial port or a USB port. |

2. Multiple loggers can be located at remote sites and can all be connected to a central computer via a switch box. |

3. A remote dial-up connection can be established using modems. |
 |
4. A wireless connection can exist between a logger and a host computer. The range varies anywhere between 500 feet and 12 miles based on surrounding topography. |
Software
TRAK-R Logger has proprietary software that is included with every logger. TRAK-R software is suitable for Windows operating systems from Windows 95 up to and including the latest version of Microsoft Windows. TRAK-R software is designed for easy operation and provides the user with many features. Look at our screenshots of sample graphs for further information.
